The Travel Advisory News Network, TANN, a California corporation, produces automated real time traveler information services.  Established in 1998, TANN works closely with transportation and transit agencies, federal, state and local government, air quality agencies and the private sector in the implementation and operation of various transportation strategies that play a role in improving air quality, reducing emissions and congestion and improving transportation system performance.

As an Application Service Provider (ASP), TANN has numerous agreements with both public and private organizations for the assembly, integration and delivery of real time traveler information to the traveling public. The data sources from markets throughout the U.S. represent more than 10,000 loop detectors, 1,000 cameras, 1,000 changeable message signs and incident reports from numerous public safety sources.

The TANN distribution system extends the reach of traveler information to a large audience base.  The TANN Information Distribution Network includes display in the TANN Web Site, media outlet web sites, display devices such as Pocket PC, WAP cell phone, in-vehicle, Kiosk, 511 IVR, Changeable Message Signs, Public Display Panels and in broadcast television traffic news.
